Milo's Birthday Post! (Finally!)

So before I can post anything else I have to do Milo's birthday post!
Milo is my best boy! I love this kid so much! When I found out I was having a boy I was beyond excited, we all were! I had been waiting for him! As much as I loved my girls (which is a lot!) I knew I was not going to have all girls. I knew there was a little boy waiting to come into our family! (And now we even got a our bonus baby Nash! So we are double blessed!)

The Friday before his birthday (which is August 16!) we had our neighborhood party! We have so many friends and so much family close by that my kids always have two- sometimes three parties!

Kari was kind enough to let us borrow her water slide! And Milo invited all the boys his age in the neighborhood to come over! We had Liam, Ben, Roman, Talon, Christopher, Michael and Ashton , His sisters and Autumn  also joined in on the fun! I was surprised at how easy and enjoyable this party was! I am usually running around like a chicken with its head cut off during parties trying to entertain and play games. This time I didn't plan ANY games! Gasp! I know right!

I just let the boys play on the slide until their hearts content! I also did NOT bake a birthday cake for this party! Double Gasp!
I bought a whole bunch of fat boy ice cream sandwiches and rolled the sides of them in green sprinkles and I told the kids they were mine craft creepers and stacked them in to a pyramid! It was the easiest cake I ever made that made such a big impression! The kids loved it! I didn't take a picture but I have a video of the kids singing happy birthday!

Denae thought of making Nash his own little pool to play in! He loved it!

Then Milo got a special treat the campout at Grandma and Grandpa Jaynes was that night so he got an extra special night! We had a delicious dinner and then a rousing game of croquette! We then enjoyed a delicious dessert and sang Happy Birthday to Ryan. Then a lot of us settled down since there are a lot of babies in the family this year!

We took Milo to toys r us later that afternoon and let him pick out his own bike and then went to the malt shop for hamburgers!

So this post is getting ridiculously long but then the next day was Sunday and that night we had my family over to celebrate with them!
