Then you paint this...
Then you sketch your design and paint it...
Then you have your handsome, talented, genius handyman do this... (Oh my! I love that man!)
Then you hang up your totally fabulous family picture (that your awesome friend Cassi took) and then you stand back and admire all you awesome creativeness!!
Then you have decide which color to paint the molding... Jared thinks white, but I wanted to do it the same color as the tree (coffee bean) or gray, or black. But now the white is starting to grow on me. Hmmmm....
What do you think?
I really love it Carrilyne. I came home today and looked at my own house trying to see if there was somewhere I could do something like that!
ReplyDeleteAs for the Molding color... I would go for a white, maybe a gray, but not the brown. I think it would take away from your lovely tree. Just my opinion.... take it or leave it...
I love it! You amaze me. I recently aquired some discount paint that i'm itching to do something with. Hmmm. I just need your friend cassie to come take our family picture. Thanks for the inspiration. Oh and I don't think you should do brown either, though white is not my favorite it may just be the right option. take another picture and post it if you change the color.
ReplyDeleteCarrilyne you are the most awesome Lady ever!!! I am in awe of your creativity
ReplyDeleteCarre!!!! Beautiful! I do love it! But I ask one more time...why do I live 4 hours away from you????? The song that is playing right now is making me miss you even more. And you have a fun beautiful project. And I need a running buddy. And I miss you. (not to be Poor Me or anything!!!)
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I love the finished product. I think brown would take away from your art, too. If you don't like the white, I'd go with the gray. Love ya!
Carlson family votes white! ♥
ReplyDeleteI love it! I really like the white. I see your point in wanting a different color. So my vote is white or light gray.
ReplyDeleteLove it!! How about coming over and helping me decorate my house. My vote on the trim is white - I think it looks nice. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is Awesome!! For my taste I would do it the same color as the picture frame which I believe is black. I know I love back, and for me everything is black. The frame just blends into the white wall, or you could paint the wall a different color and leave the frame white.. All the possibilities...
ReplyDeleteI like the white, but it does sorda blend into the wall. If you paint the same color as the tree, it'll blend with the tree. Paint the wall. No big deal, right?!!
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed. That is very creative and fun. What a great hubby to help you out. So cute. I know what you mean about the white, but I don't think brown is the right choice. You may be best with white, though. What color is the adjacent wall?
ReplyDeleteYou are so daring and your daringness pays off. It looks really good! I want to see it in person soon.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE IT! That is soooo cute! I think white. It would distract otherwise.
