It is an experience I think every parent should have.
Here some highlights from our 12 hour drive to California.

Ha! Those are great photos. Oh yes.....we've been on many a road trip with all of the natives. Both sides of the family live far far far far away so all of our trips......look pretty much like yours......soda and chocolate (for the kids) are banned from the car....for much the same reason that you have posted here. Excpetion is mommy. My car means I get what I want, no questions asked or snotty comments from the peanut gallery.
