Rex Lee Run

Another 5k run! And I beat my time from the Run for Red by a minute even with the killer hills!

I'm sooo addicted to running and the sunshine is calling me out to the trail!! I have been dying to get out and get some good use out of my Garmin 305 with heart rate moniter and it looks like this week I will finally get to put some miles on it!

I loved this run! It is great! Where else would I get asked in the middle of the race to take a picture with a perfect stranger for his blog! (If you would like to see a picture of me on a random BYU student's blog go here!)

I am also pictured on my next door neighbor Karen's blog- take a look here. And unlike Karen- I love orange! (I know it's weird!)

  1. How do you train? Do you have a treadmill? That is the only way I can figure you would do it with the kids and the weather. Let me know. I am really curious.

  3. Great job, Carre! You almost make me want to give up my daily walk and start jogging...yeah right! Maybe one of these days. But maybe that's what it takes to look as amazing as you do! I love how happy you are. You're the best!

  4. Good job! I am impressed. I'm not much of a runner but I've always wanted to.
Cute pictures of Libby's surgery day. I hope she feels better soon.

  5. I actually love orange and have some nice rusty autumn looking orange courdaroy that I'd like to make a jacket out of when I actually go in to my messy room. :) AKA my craft/sewing area.

  6. You totally rock you know that? I seriously think you are so awesome. Kudo's to you for beating your time. I actually thought of you last night while I was reading a new book I just picked up. It is called, "ChiRunning". Heard of it? My sister started applying his technique (she is in her 50's) and says it has made a world of difference to her form, no more body pain and aches, and has improved her time. She used to get pain in her hips but not anymore I guess. I just started reading it so can't give an opinion but thought of you. Someday I'll join you and run with ya! :)
