Getting back to what I love...

Most of you out there reading this blog already know I love to run. And on Saturday I did my first 5k in a year and a half and it felt cold- I mean- really good! But, yes, it was fridged! The fam stuck it out like champs and were there to cheer me on!

Contary to this picture I took this race pretty easy! I wanted to save my energy for a sprint finish- the kids (and Jared) really love that for some reason!
It felt so good!

For any of my fellow runners the Rex Lee Run is this Saturday and it is a super fun run!
I'm doing the 5k in case any of you want to join me!

  2. Great job, Carre! I'm so proud of you! I'd love to join you tomorrow for the Rex Lee Run, but you know, I'm kind of carrying an extra 15 non-losable at this time pounds. Plus I think running up my street might give me a heart attack. But, it is my life goal to run a race with you and actually keep up without you whistling at me like a dog. (Remember the good old days in high school??) Someday...

  8. I did not know that about you! I wish I loved to run~ I tried to get to where I could love it last summer and failed miserably! I need someone to teach me to run. I know that sounds pathetic and ridiculous, but I've never done it well and need to learn how!

  9. Oh how I wished I liked running. Maybe if I had a cool friend like you to run with I'd like it. Of course I'd be way too slow to keep up with you cause after about 5 min. I'd want to quit. :) You're awesome.
