Wow! Seven! Indiana has been in our lives for 7 years! It just blows me away... The first picture is of Indy on her first birthday- I can't believe how fast time goes by!!She had an awesome birthday! The Children's Parade for the Freedom festival was on her birthday and she was very excited to be in a parade on her birthday!! So we had to get up early for chocolate chip pancakes and to sing her Happy Birthday for the 1st time that day. The parade turned out to be a blast. We were a little worried about all the waiting in the hot, hot sun but it went very quickly. I am very fortunate to have a genius for a husband (he tells me that fact daily). Jared decorated the kids bike trailer all by himself and of course added a sun umbrella to it. We would just stand under it while we were waiting it was so nice!
We had all the family over for a barbaque and in our family you have to wait until after dinner to open your presents. Indy of couse finished first and went around asking everyone if they were done eating yet. She got lots of fun presents from everyone she got everything she asked for, lucky kid.
On Monday we had a party for her with her friends and the kids had a blast! The big excitement of the party was a visit from Indy's 1st grade teacher Mrs. Walton! Indy talks about her all the time so I had called to see if she could come. And it was so awesome that she did! It was so exciting and fun that I completely forgot to take a picture of her with Indy!! But I'm sure we will never forget it!
Well I'm so glad I have a break from parties for a couple months. I'm exhausted!
Happy Birthday Indy!! Time flies hu? Tristen will be 8 this year!! Crazy.
ReplyDeleteI thought of you on Jack's birthday. Looks like fun. We didn't do a big party this year but we will next year as it's the big 8. Looks so fun. We finally broke 70 degrees here and I was kinda getting hot. I know, so funny when you think about it but it's true.
ReplyDeleteI told my primary kids that were talking about the new Indiana Jones movie that Jack has a friend named Indiana Jaynes and they were all amazed. They thought that was so cool. Have you guys seen the new movie? We haven't but are hoping to soon.
