Thanksgiving is such a great holiday, and I am so grateful that it gives me an excuse to have a big delicious dinner with family! This year we had dinner with my family and I had chosen to make the orange bow knots, sweet potatoes and cranberry sauce. I also brought a dessert and it was a new recipe I found on pinterest, but for the first time in a long time I had a total baking fail! I brought it anyway, but I wouldn't let any one eat it.
I am so grateful for this sweet face!

Jared is a funny guy! He had cut his finger really bad earlier in the day but he really didn't want to go to the ER on Thanksgiving so he was trying to tough it out. He slept until dinner then he got up and ate here then went back to sleep until pie!

So after we watched The Christmas Story we had pie and Jared woke up and decided he did actually need to go to the ER so off we went and good thing because he ended up with 7 stitches!
