The proposal

My husband took off his wedding band about 10 years ago, and of course, lost it, and he hasn't worn one since.  I haven't really cared because Jared sends off plenty of  "I am taken" vibes so I don't really feel that a ring is necessary to show the world he's mine. I have asked him about getting one but he'd rather spend his money on any of his 37 hobbies than to buy a wedding band.  But tonight his sister Holly realized he wasn't wearing a wedding ring and asked him why. And of course she didn't like the fact that he didn't have a ring especially because she had a solution to the problem.  While Jared was outside she showed me a mens titanium ring that she had won at a bridal expo that she was never going to use and said I could give it to Jared.  SO we planned a proposal! We tied a bow on the ring box and waited for Jared to come inside.

 Ummm... What's going on here? Your making me nervous!

Oh phew! You aren't pregnant! You just want me to wear this ring?? You got it, babe!

 Wow, I am the luckiest man alive!
