When Jared and I were young and dating (like ten whole years ago!! Wow I am so old!) we had some special places that we made our own. One of thoes places would be a beach down by the Lindon Boat Harbor on Utah Lake. It was best to have a four wheel drive vehicle to get to this beach, although sometimes we had to make do without. It had great sand for a beach along Utah Lake. If you walked out into the water it felt slimy and mushy, there were reeds were all around, and the sunsets were amazing...
At the time Jared was into wind surfing. I was his little groupie girlfriend that would go with him and just sit on the beach and help him set up and launch off. Then I would just sit there in the sand and watch. Sometimes with a friend, sometimes all alone. I would love to sit there and think about that man out there on the water. Dreaming up our future...
Now it is the future and we are doing pretty dang good. But the sad thing is we haven't been back to "our beach" in years. So if I were to plan the perfect date this is how it would go down-
Place: Our beach
Dinner: Picnic basket full of yummies and some sparkly apple drink with tall glasses.
Time: Sunset
Entertainment: Hmmm... Not sure I should go in to thoes details... People in my ward read this blog :0)
