A Wild December

A lot happened this month.

My mother's parents were here visiting, and while here, my Grandpa had to be hospitalized for 5 days with blood clots. That was a bummer. The one good thing we got out of that was to spend more time with them. Here is Grammy with Milo.

Cassi took some adorable Christmas pics of my little gang, along with my newest nephew, well my only nephew, Liam!

My littlest brother, Rylan (in the green T), left on his "mish". I'm so proud of him. He will be a stalwart servant, and I think he will also break a few 12 year old hearts! ( I always had crushes on the missionaries! Was it just me? I think out in California or anywhere else besides Utah you feed missionaries more often so I had more oppertunities to fall for them:o)
Libby and I, looking fabulous!
Jared's Christmas wish was to have our Christmas Eve feast with just us. My family is usually involved in the Christmas Eve dinner but most of them were in California. ( My sis, Chelsea, who was here, came later for dessert with her little fam.) The feast included a honey baked ham, Mmmmmm, stove top stuffing, real mashed potatoes with gravy, green bean casserole, and of course orange bow knot rolls. No holiday is complete with out orange bow knots in my family!
After the Christmas Eve feast we, of course, had to read the christmas story and let the kids dress up and act it out. It was really simple this year, they dressed themselves up and found their own props. Were so excited to have Milo be baby Jesus! Finally a real boy, baby Jesus! But he actually wasn't too happy about it. So as you can see, we had to give the story a little twist to keep the peace. Lol! Two baby Jesus'!
Christmas Morning was very good to us. My kids got everything their little hearts desired. And Jared had the fun of putting in batteries and assembling toys. Our big gifts to the girls were Nintendo DS's. They love them! Even Ellie is a little pro. Other favorite gifts include, Lucky the wonder pup, The baby that really swims ( I don't remember the offical name that is just what Lib calls it :o),and an iDog...
Christmas morning Craziness!!!

We are so blessed! We had a fabulous Christmas Season, and my wish is to continue it's spirit all throught the year!

  5. Looks like a very Merry christmas and had lots of fun with your family! It is nice just to do dinner with your own little family, then you get all the leftovers! Ashton is jealous of the DS's, he is convinced he is the only kid without one. Santa brought Ben "Lucky" too and the whole family loves it!
