It was a Wednesday morning. I woke up feeling excited, I just knew it was the day. Indy had afternoon preschool so we had all morning to get ready. I remember wanted to look good! I had really long hair at the time and I blowed dried it and did my make up. As i started getting Indy and Libby in the car to drop off Indy I felt my first contraction but of course I was in denial. I dropped Indy off and went to my mom's house to hang out. The contractions were getting more intense but not closer together so I still wasn't sure it was the real deal.
My mom wanted to go workout at Curves and she asked me if I'd be ok. I said yeah sure. Ten minutes after she left I was finally convinced I was really in labor. I called Jared and told him to come get me. I got another contraction and called Jared again and said come get me, NOW! My poor teenage brother, Rylan, was the only one home with me and he was a little freaked out. But lucky he was there to watch Libby. Jared picked me and rushed me to the hospital not without breaking a few laws... I was feeling lots of pressure by this time. We got to the hospital and I was already at 8-9 cm! No time for an epidural! So I got some narcotics shot into my back and Eleanora Jo Jaynes was born soon after!

I love the top picture of Ellie -- that's a keeper. Your lights look "fab" by the way. And I love that Jared likes frozen TV dinners. How awesome is that. (I wish Eric was that way -- easy and cheap is my kind of dinner.)

Oh I remember that day so well! I tried to call mom to get a ride home from swim practice but she didn't answer so I called Rylan and he said something about you coming to get me but it turns out I waited there, in the cold with my hair wet, an extra hour because little Jojo was coming!
