He is here- our long awaited baby boy is here! He arrived at 7:08 on Saturday, August 16 2008. He is so cute and cuddly weighinging in at 8 lbs 11 oz. He is 19 inches and perfect! I'm am so blessed to have a healthy baby and an uncomplicated labor. I am feeling great and so happy!
The girls were so excited to see their baby brother. They were having a hard time sharing. My poor niece Michaela was trying to climb up on my hospital bed to see what her big cousins were looking at and Ellie pushed her off and said "He's our baby brother!" I couldn't believe their sense of ownership of this little guy would be so strong!
He was born on Jared's dad's birthday so his middle name is Stephen for him. It is also Jared's middle name and I am happy that his name comes from two very awesome men.

ReplyDeleteCongrats on your new "male" addition to your home. We still haven't figured how to do that. With 4 girls and no boys, Daddy is still extremely out-numbered. He's darling and is definitely a Jaynes. I hope to meet him soon.
